EB GUIDE STF
EB GUIDE Speech Target Framework (STF):
The runtime for speech dialog
The EB GUIDE Speech Target Framework (STF) is a high-performance platform, enabling automatic speech recognition and speech output within modern speech dialog systems.
In summer 2007, the first portable navigation device (PND) enabling speech dialog target input was brought onto the market. Both the EB street director navigation solution and the EB GUIDE Speech Target Framework platform used for the speech dialog were obtained as turnkey solutions from EB.
Modern speech dialog systems consist generally of two components: automatic speech recognition (ASR) and generic speech output (GSO). EB GUIDE Studio is a very flexible choice of technology. The tool is capable of supporting conventional modules for automatic speech recognition (ASR) as well as Text-to-Speech (TTS) speech synthesis. In the context of the development of multinational HMI products, the integration of various languages is also possible. Text-to-Speech enables a driver to receive route instructions that convey the direction as well as the relevant street names and exits.
EB develops speech dialog-based complete or partial solutions with automatic speech recognition, tailored to your requirements. We place a major emphasis thereby on the greatest possible user friendliness.
Main benefits of using EB GUIDE STF
- Efficient tools for the specification, simulation and code generation of multimodal user interfaces
- Inclusion of various ASR and TTS modules
- Navigation systems with voice input/output
- Voice control of third-party applications
- Expertise in embedded software
